MID-ATLANTIC EDUCATORS OF COLOR NETWORK

Built by educators of color.
For educators of color.

MAEC is a grassroots regional network committed to centering, connecting, and uplifting educators of color in independent schools across the Mid-Atlantic region. We are small by design, relational at our core, and grounded in collective care.

We foster authentic connection among educators, students, and families of color — knowing that when our communities feel seen, supported, and affirmed, our schools are stronger.
THE NETWORK
More than a conference.

Through regional gatherings, shared learning, and our annual conference, we deepen relationships, nurture leadership, strengthen belonging, and contribute to making independent schools more welcoming and sustaining environments for educators and families of color.
